I've always wondered if some of the transfers ALWAYS had injury issues and that why they didn't excel at their old school.

I congratulate McCawley but I was more concerned that 2 heralded guys ,Meiguez and Franks, are not on it. We didn't get a transfer LB so we are light there. Also,speaking of transfers----- Gibbs is a starter at Bama.Ivy is probably a starter at Ms St and Morris Joseph is 2nd unit DE at awbern.

The CG "ready"list is out. Bit scary that a walkon is on it at LB (1 of 6 ). Aren't LBs suppose to be the heart of coverage teams, hmmm Of course last yr several guys ended up playing that weren't on the list.

I would like to believe that new coaching will somehow overcome the loss of 2/3s of our starters off a 3 win team but it is just too big a stretch .

I'm glad you are positive but one could also make the case that in EVERY position (except QB) ,we lost the best player/s from last yr.Its hard to make up those type of losses..

Lots of assumptions there.The only improved postion on the team may turn out to be the QB. (including kicker) --a bit SCARY.

Here are 2 scrimmage updates.----At Bama, the players are alll amazed at how quick Gibbs is. At Auburn Morris Joesph ( the Tech transfer EX-COMMIT from Memphis St)) is pushing to start at DE.

The biggest chance for improvement would come if Keion White somehow became a huge pass-rush force. Without that type of upgrade to the rush--no, the Dbs won't be much better. esp at first.

DJ Moore looked good in Spring "scrimmage".He is a man now.
