An interesting tidbit on Charleston Southern.. These guys play real football. They BEAT Citadel (remember them? ) last yr. Also lost to uga 56-7. About the SAME as us (they actually scored a TD). So W.C beat them badly. ---This game is no rollover maybe..

yep, I saw that also.But it was his first start and played the whole game.Also he didn't make a bad snap (I think) which I thought was excellent.

Having Eley on ST is a BAD mistake.We have little depth at LB and having him tired out in the 4th qtr is very critical to def. ---See clem # of pts in last qtr. !!! This gets back to recruiting at that position.btw--not having Thomas for a half this week may be a problem.

As a first yr guy, it would be ok. As a 4th yr, not good at all. ---Having a SECOND punt blocked is CRAZY bad. TEN penalties is BAD! Not coming even close to the betting line is again --bad.

To me this game can be seen in 3 stats-- -2 for 16 on 3rd down -2 blocked punts - 10 penalties and we didn't come close to beating the line of 22

Nope,just keep it simple and controlled.If we do this ,the rest of the things take care of themselves--like last yr which was a real game unlike later..

I too hope we have fewer injuries ( er,Sims) but the hope for better depth may be a dream.WE have few positions that actually have proven players much less 2nd/3rd unit depth..
