  2. Detroit Free Press: Lions tap Georgia pipeline for another Johnson

Isn't it great to read about the character of our players off the field? In life that is what is important.
  3. Gt football trending upward?

With the limitations Tech has versus the factories it is doubtful we will win 10+ games each year. But CPJ has shown we can be competitive game in and game out and a fun team to watch. We will win more than we lose and the horses that play us can't ever take us lightly. Right now we seem to...
  4. ND Golson transferring

He does not have to go to graduate school to be eligible??
  5. Who Surprisingly Steps Up From Spring To Fall?

Very seldom, if at any time, are there gifts to be an elite individual at some skill, that does not require hard work and sacrifice to be all you can be. You watch the Gymnast, figure skater, make it look so easy but you don't see the 5 AM practices 5 and 6 days a week and maybe afternoon...

    I would add Kallon
  7. B Back Transfer - Patrick Skov

I can dream of Skov leading JT5 or TB as blocking back through the BB gap.
  8. Interesting piece on Foster's defense against OSU

Foster is not too prideful to talk to other coaches and get ideas on how to fine tune his scheme. Talked to Iowa coach about to to defend the TO. Did the same when scheming for Buckeyes. He is certainly a very good if not great DC. He gambles on us by stopping the run first. We need some...
  9. Orange Bowl Redux

I grew up with that one plus "Mell of a Hess"

  11. What do you want to see happen over the summer?

I understand M Lynch uses a tennis ball tossing machine to help receivers develop their catching ability.. Do We ? Anyone know of others teams that might. When McCoy was at Texas I was amazed at the 75 to 80 % completion rates because Our receivers would drop 20 % or more. I know we go for...
  12. B Back Transfer - Patrick Skov

If you were applying to a graduate school would you apply to only one.
  13. CJ Leggett injured?

It doesn't but after the ND game we will know so much more about this team. Like Friday night we learned we may have a very good BB and our WRs can play football. We are nota powerhouse but have a lot going in the right direction and 2015 is going to another fun ride.
  14. B Back Transfer - Patrick Skov

My high school coach was safety for the Redskins in the 30s and would tell war stories of Bronko Nagurski of the Bears. Said that was the worse sight for him to see was Nagurski breaking through the line as if untouched.
  15. CJ Leggett injured?

September 19 end of 4th quarter will tell us where we stand.. We will get some clues first 2 games but we were pretty bad the first three games of 2014. I still think the BB situation is biggest ? mark. Other positions on O will be a yearly transition type reload. The big thing is to improve...
  16. CJ Leggett injured?

Swilling not working out at BB? Didn't CJ miss last years spring game because of injury?
  17. GT to open 2016 vs ACC foe?

And flying across the pond can screw up your time clock both going and returning for next game.
  18. Patrick Skov to visit Tomorrow per KQ on Twitter

We had a DB removed from the Duke game with a hit like that, maybe even less that helmet to helmet in the Duke game.
  19. Practice Day #12

Cheese I actually did Laugh Out Loud at your comment. And you are right on! It is that time of year when we grasp at anything.
  20. Practice Day #12

Seems to me that even in stressing how bad things were Saturday his demeanor is more upbeat than past years (except last year) Still smiling more than usual as he responds. This is Spring Practice and a patch work OL. A lot of work to be done before Sept 19. That is the day that we know...
