no surprise that Bolden is bolting. (sorry.. couldn't resist) the big question has been whether he would jump to D league or transfer and cost himself two more years before he gets a check
Still makes me SMH that people will cheer for a "school" that takes taxpayer money and commits the biggest academic fraud in NCAA history..... then turn around a boo a school that has had no hint of scandal since they took David Thompson to dinner in 1970
Well, Ewing would be in the Mullin to St Johns vein. And that's been shaky so far. Jury still out, but I think hiring a legend alum who has no head coaching experience is a desperate move
Cincy is a pretty cool city. I spent time there when I was consulting and had clients there. I doesn't blow you away if you're there for a day or two, but if you stick around, it's a really friendly and very livable city with a lot to do. Cleveland? Not so much. Had to spend way too...
The refs handed that game to Gonzaga. WVU got fouled several times in last the minutes but no whistles.
Adrien gets pushed from behind by a guy not making a legitimate basketball play. Jamie Luckie calls it out of bounds to Gonzaga when the ball and man never went out. No foul on...
I'd be surprised to see Amaker leave Harvard. His wife is a tenured professor at Harvard. He is a hero is he makes the NCAA once a decade and gets a hall pass if they have a losing record in off years
Back to the topic..... ;)
Jeter never adjusted to college game at ACC level. He will likely transfer to PAC12 and we'll see more of the same there. Or he could go to Nevada, Vegas or a Mountain West outpost and put up nice numbers. (See Ojeleye, Semi.)
Yurtseven might get picked in second...
Most draft boards I've seen have Tatum, Smith, Isaac and Justin Jackson all in the lottery.
Kennard, Mitchell, Lydon and Giles all later in first round
Blossomgame, Allen & Bacon in early second
Justin Jackson won't announce anything until after the Heels finish up their season, but I can't imagine he'll stay. Think you'll see Dennis Smith, Collins, Allen, Bacon, Giles go too. Interested to see what Kennard & XRM will do
Lots of personality / behavior issues. Basically, everything you ever heard about what a turdburglar Matt Doherty was? TC allegedly makes him look like a polite choirboy. According to them, no one is sorry to see him leave either place. Not players, boosters, athletic admin.... no one
I spent the weekend watching NCAAT with some midwest folks who are pretty well connected at Marquette, tOSU and Indiana. They are of the opinion that no one in their right mind would hire Crean. According to them (and they have first hand experience with TC), he is a disaster on all levels...
I don't know the explanation (do the kids like CJP more? Were there locker room issues with all the mercenary senior transfers? Did CBG not know how to teach an offensive set? Etc) but my observations of the on court product :
1) under CJP we have an offense that relies on ball and player...
Hmmmmm.... the ACC is not living up to the hype.
Clemson bounced at home after an epic collapse in NIT first round
Syracuse loses at home in NIT 2nd round
Wake and Miami both lose in their first games against teams they should've dominated.
Va Tech loses in first game, but they have...
