I know you did not see the scrimmage but actually T Marshall was very effective in that scrimmage running the follow and the midline. His quickness and ability to really scoot through tight holes was very effective running in the middle.

Several of those 15 players were potential starters or proven players like Lynch, C Griffin, and A Marshall and like Mills may not have seen much action anyway. With some minor dings it makes sense to hold them out when you have 90 other players you want to evaluate.

IMO it is 2nd guy or RS. I would hate to see him get ST duty and little PT as a 3rd backup. A RS would give him potentially 2 years after Mills but if he is ready to split the duty with Mills now then go for it. From my limited view of him in the scrimmage he may easily be #2.

I agree. When CPJ said Adams had lost more weight than Devine by percentage that was probably not correct by the scales, but probably based on his eye test observation like ours. Adams really looks like a stud and not just big. In fact the DL group as a whole is really physically impressive.

I did and it was not punishment. I ask him at Fan Day if he had a license to drive that sled and he responded by saying he felt he needed to put in extra work since he got so few touches in the scrimmage. He was very involved with fan interaction at Fan Day and seemed to be in great spirits.
