  1. Going on the Record

I don’t blame him for the hire. I blame him for the contract. We should have been able to fire him earlier without so much financial pain.
  2. Georgia State

MUCH BETTER midweek performance. I am encouraged and pleased.
  3. New Adidas ad for trans athletes

I would express an opinion but it would get me banned.
  4. Georgia State

Interesting. I will be curious to see how we play this game. We stank it up against Georgia Southern yielding 10 runs to a team that couldn't score 10 runs all weekend against UCF. with poor defense and pitching. I have hopes for better.
  5. Going on the Record

This sounds about right to me.
  6. New Adidas ad for trans athletes

    IN BEFORE THE LOCK...
  7. Really we’ve sunk to a new low

Pastner is a likeable coach. I root for him to succeed. I enjoy GT basketball. But honestly, we haven't accomplished all that much under his leadership except have one end-of-year hot streak (combined with a covid weirdness). He's clearly better than what preceded him, but not enough has been...
  8. Coaching Upgrade?

Are we getting coaching upgrades? None of us know. wins next year will tell us.
  9. Wright State - Opening Weekend

Which part? Getting beat 26-3 in the first game of a double header against Oklahoma State? Or blowing a golden opportunity to get revenge in the second game, which Wright State led 6-2 entering the 9th inning only to lose 7-6 in extras?
  10. GT at ND on the ACCN 2/26

Ush is a winner and you should be extremely proud of the young man.
  11. Gardner-Webb

Maxwell was IMPRESSIVE! Defense for the starters was solid. I remain worried about pitching depth. I think our starters are very good...but the bullpen has been rather weak thus far. Grissom has had two poor outings in a row. Roedig offers some hope....let's keep giving him work to get him back...
  12. Gardner-Webb

If I were Gardner-Webb, I'd bunt all day long today to make GT prove its pitchers can field the ball. (History shows we cannot.)
  13. Funny Stuff

To each their own, I suppose <sigh>
  14. Gardner-Webb

Defense and pitching! I love it!
  15. Georgia Southern / Presbyterian College

Love your optimism. I'm usually pessimistic (although I'm slowly getting better about that as I age), hence my concerns. You go, Fred!
  16. Georgia Southern / Presbyterian College

Sorry, I wasn't very clear...I thought we were ALLOWING 6.6 runs per game (it sounded about right to me) and I was dismayed by that.
  17. CGC on 680 this AM

That sounds like one of those jokes... "Hold my beer" style....
  18. Collins on Packer & Durham

Winning cures everything. Losing makes everything smell MUCH worse.
  19. Georgia Southern / Presbyterian College

6.6 runs per game given the level of opposition thus far strikes me as a huge problem. Once we get into ACC and SEC opponents, it's another matter, but sheesh!
  20. GT vs Virginia Polytechnic 2/23

This is just a lost season. Hope the coaching staff and players figure something out for next year....
