I was born a fan in 1961. My dad was a member of the Lion's Club. Back then Lion's Club members would get tickets to the JV game vs Georgia every Thanksgiving. I would imagine I went from 1966 until they quit playing JV games. The first VARSITY game that I can recall was vs Clemson in 1970. (We...
Do you realize that against Tenn., we ran 96 play and Tenn. ran 42 plays and we still lost and gave up 42 points? That’s a point per play. Let that sink in. If we ran a different offense and scored really quick and didn't keep the ball longer than most other style offenses do, Tenn. would have...
Sidewalk Fan here. Been going to Tech games (Multiple Sports) since my Dad took me to my 1st football game in 1967. I was 6 years old. I can't imagine any alum being any more of a FAN than I am. Everyone that knows me has no doubt where my fandom stands. I catch a lot of grief, but NOTHING could...
From Footballscoop
App State: Source tells FootballScoop Wofford inside linebackers coach Greg Gasparato is set to join the defensive staff at App State. There is some buzz on “the internet” that defensive line coach Mark Ivey might be heading to Georgia Tech; but sources tell FootballScoop that...
1st let me begin by saying I have always been a CPJ fan. I trust and believe that he can have more success with his offense at GT because you seldom get 4-5 star players on either side of the ball. Therefore you can beat more teams on scheme alone.
That being said. I think it's a double edged...
Here’s my take FWIW
One of the two is a better fighter than football player and the other is a better football player than a fighter. Not sure either will ever play another down.
I felt all alone this year that this team wasn’t much of a TEAM. I’m not sure that I put 100% stock into the...
So.... as bad as these stats are for the defense, our defense really hasn't sucked as bad as the stats say they do? Awesome, I change my prediction to 13-0. J/K
I actually love CPJ's coaching and his offense. I honestly think that CPJ's offense is plug and play. I don't have any reason to...
Yeah, I was just shocked to see that we have typically rocked along between the top 15-35 in the nation in Total offense and scoring offense, then all of the sudden the past two years (even with our players back) we were between 70-85. That's an alarming drop off in production.
I was about to post “Why can’t everyone relax?” Then I started looking at stats to back up what I thought was cause for optimism.
My original thoughts were that we have basically always just plugged in people and kept on keeping on. But even last year with what we felt were almost unreplaceable...
Anyone else think this spring has been a disaster production wise? I don't think any questions that this coaching staff had for next fall got answered in the spring. Jabari IF he is actually cleared to play and Justin not getting hurt.

"We should get all our guys back, with the exception of probably Chris Griffin for the fall."
So, is he out for 2015?
What concerns me most is our D-Line averages about 265-270 lbs against a VERY good uga O-Line averages around 300lbs. I am concerned that they can basically do what we do. Line up run the ball and dare us to try yo stop it. This could be the worlds shortest game. No passes and ball control on...
