The thread was about naming attributes of character that make Key a good coach. WreckGT came up with one. Being lucky.
After several argued with him about that I gave him a chance to name anything else about Key, other than luck, that might indicate his value as a coach. He mentioned a...
“It’s not hard to see” yet no one seems to have the same eagle eye that you have when it comes to seeing that uga was just half trying against us. Shoot, even the uga fans I know weren’t able to see that.
With all the ways you keep downplaying some of Tech’s best efforts last season it’s like...
I’m beginning to think he is just a troll.
Unless one is severely cognitively limited everyone knows that if Georgia could have run up the score on Tech they would have. That’s how they’ve played it for as long as we’ve been rivals.
“Average coach at best who’s luck to have gotten a job a this level.”
That’s a really unique view. And I don’t think anyone has to think Key walks on water to see your view as something of an outlier among Tech fans.
Thanks for sharing.
Which dead horse?
Dead Horse List:
1. Our never having enough good DL.
2. Perpetual need for more in the trenches.
3. Tech alumni not local enough.
4. Limitations of STEM school recruiting.
5. Lack of alumni support.
6. Needing offensive scheme advantage.
7. Lack of AA funds.

Key is the whole package as a coach. He is confident in his process but not cocky. He communicates clearly and without spin. He cares about his players. He has a vision for the program. He is decisive with his decision making but fair. His is genuinely humble in the best sense, always...
What is your agenda here? If you just keep repeating the same thing over and over it gets kind of boring.
Please list what you think Key’s greatest assets are as a coach. We all get it that you think he is lucky but what else? Go ahead and put luck at the top of your list but please mention...
Nobody has to dare this team to take threes. We’re taking them regardless.
Count me among those who thinks our three shooting is hampered by not being in rhythm, poor looks and contested shots. If an opponent was to play less aggressively and give us clean looks our percentage might improve.
But, it’s still an arbitrary distinction. There have been 9 college football championship games in this format and 6 of them have been blowouts.
I hope this one is a good, tight game but blowouts have been common.
So what’s my point? I have no point. Just chewing the fat.
I remember several Alabama national championships that were won by plodders who blew games open with a crushing run game and a smothering defense.
This game, to me, will demonstrate whether college football is still in the “modern era” or returning to old school approaches.
I’m leaning that way. Even think a timely break for Michigan could blow the game open for them in a rout.
On the other hand, they blew every chance they had to run Alabama out of the stadium so I can see their mistakes keeping this game close.
