  1. #UNCvsGT Postgame

They are as the college QBR includes rushing. College also has a Passer Rating, which doesn't include sacks and only looks at completions, incompletions and interceptions. I was confused that he was just targeting a pass play where the QB gets tackled behind the line of scrimage, vs the QB...
  2. #UNCvsGT Postgame

Not exactly, its why we didn't give up a lot of sacks for options plays taht were blown up behind the line. They analyze intent of play as well in college.
  3. #UNCvsGT Postgame

Sacks are a defensive stat. They always count as rushing for the QB. The Statistician split them on the defensive side based on if it was an intended run or not. Its why we technically had 10 sacks, but 2 of them were credited as TFLS due to howell becoming an actual runner. In the NFL they...
  4. #UNCvsGT Postgame

Makes sense basically howell had 8 carries, 5 for 61 yards and a TD but 3 fumbles, so a little under 50 percent of his runs were turnovers, (we all know these were sacks but college counts those as rushes) because of that he was giving away points.
  5. Thoughts on GA TECH v UGA at Mercedes Benz Every year?

Well as spurrier said when he was at SC, you kinda like getting them early usually they got at least 2-3 contributors suspended.
  6. Pitt is favored

We'd just move a DT in and trot off the nickel corner since thomas can fill that roll if they shift out. Honeslty i'd probably go to a 4-4 look by rollgin carpenter down into the outside backer position agaisnt a 22 I. That'd put thomas and carpenter on the Tight ends in coverage responsibility...
  7. PFF Grades Through UNC Game

PFF gets broken by Veer systems so i have no idea what they would be rated. I know there is a minimal number of drop backs thing and if we only throw it 5 times a game technically none of our lineman would reach that.
  8. Pitt is favored

Something tells me if they trot out 22 we will have a 4-3 package for that where we trot out another DT , atleast i'd hope we do
  9. #UNCvsGT Postgame

The fact you didn't hear about him was because for the most part he locked down greene.
  10. Pitt is favored

Collins was pissed at the refs and lookign to be done with ****. Atleast that's the official story.
  11. GT vs Pitt

I am not entirely sure that's the case with Yates (he was recruited to run an option, and has made a lot of things happen with his legs), I don't think we called anywhere near the number of read option calls because Well we didn't need them against KSU, and we didn't have a back up they trusted...
  12. Where the haters?

Collins has changed his in game approach these past two games. He's been shouting at the refs. he's been more active, hasn't looked like he was passively managing. He changed something. which is good.
  13. Corner turned?

    Yep
  14. Corner turned?

Clemson still need a 2pt conversion. That's not a terribly hi percentage thing. Then we would have had to win in overtime.
  15. Corner turned?

We need to win more than one game to turn a corner. If we can beat pitt duke and UVA get and be heading into VT at 5-2 then we can say we've done that.
  16. 2021 ACC and Competition News

NC State just got away with a blatent facemask that hurt Shipley. ACC refs are just ****.
  17. Hire Geoff Collins

Im not sure how many QB center exchange problems we've had... so theres that.
  18. Jordan Yates

yeah i mean he defintiely had a few duck passes but every QB has those that slip at times, hell i've even seen it happen to aaron rodgers, tevin was also a master of getting them to commit to the hit on him before pitching as such he did wear a bit more running back center pad height.
  19. Fourth and Goal - what went wrong?

Id honestly have liked the shovel pass call on second down that way if it wasnt there you could shovel it in the dirt
  20. Jordan Yates

On that play im pretty sure his throwing motion was obstructed.
