  1. Notre Dame Postgame

I keep thinking about those two games also.
  2. Refs Horrible

Seemed like reverses or two would have worked and slow down their pursuit toward first steps of JT
  3. Holding call on Joe was killer

Not like they were doing most of game. I saw some holds like last year Duke game. PJ Davis hadarms around him a couple of times..
  4. Tulane Postgame

I don't understand that rule. Purpose I thought, was not to blindside a player, but if player sees blocker, and turns so blocker is at 3 or 4 o'clock position I don't see why it should be called. Would like comments. I am prtty sure refs are told to err on side of caution to player that could...
  5. Impact of Prior Games

Demeanor of CPJ is one of a confident "we have a good team ready to rumble". Clemson, Georgia ,MSU, FSU all were games with concern of opponents lines. We met them head on and moved the ball. We are deeper more experienced this year. ND didn't see the speed of GT when playing Texas or UVA...
  6. Irish plan

If we control TOP the ND defense will get worn down including J Smith. Weather forecast is a concern IMO.
  7. ND Linebacker on GT

These new guys have shown themselves well. Although the first two games were not against D1 competition, they both have athletes and our men responded focused. Lack of mistakes show that. "TIME TO TURN THESE YELLOW JACKETS LOOSE!!!!
  8. ND Linebacker on GT

Your thoughts are mine exactly! We have a quality bunch of players and to me is our strength. This ND captain's remarks make me worry more than their athleticism. If they have anything close to the team charisma, character, and team cohesiveness as our young men do, then it is going to a...
  9. Positive Press?

New era. Great leadership. Great group of SAs. As CPJ says this is a business trip. Do their job, assignments, the very best they can. Practice hard to improve and realize you always need to play at top performance because you never know when a call against you, error or mistake may happen...
  10. Elephant in the room

Holding seldom against the D line called unless the D guy is tackled. Sometimes if not taken to the ground it still isn't called.
  11. Keys to Victory

Don't let them bait anyone into a personal foul. Play your game, stay focused, do your job as you always do and you will prevail. GO JACKETS!!!! Sting 'em Good!!!
  12. Keys to Victory

I would add our O line move their D line. The win will be in the trenches.
  13. Gameday Weather

    LOL
  14. I'm looking for our wr's to have a field day Saturday

Need to pressure QB. In his face, hurries and a smack or two.
  15. Gameday Weather

IIRC it has in the past. You would think it wouldn't but seems that in rainy spring games and actual games we hold on to the ball pretty well.
  16. Brian Kelly Press Conference

The big thing about the ND conference was you could hear the question.
  17. How far N of Houston are you? The Woodlands? Probably more fun with your fiance than a loud...

How far N of Houston are you? The Woodlands? Probably more fun with your fiance than a loud venue at Beer Market Co. 920 Studemont St. Houston, TX 77007
  18. Remaining SOS #1 in college football

And I think (not sure) UVA is @ BDS. So those are some point swings right there. We play UVA in their house this year.
  19. Doomsday Scenario for the ACC

We have a great team and great coaches but a tough schedule and long "row to hoe" and wining ACCCG before we can think about playoff scenario. IMHO ACC, SEC, and Big 10 are the toughest conferences. Those 3 champions and one from B12, Pac10 fill out the playoff slate.
  20. Doomsday Scenario for the ACC

INMO the big 12 is weakest of all the conferences. There is Baylor and TCU then maybe Oklahoma. Why the love for the Big 12?
