  1. Is college football near the end as we know it.

NCAA and NFL/NBA should allow players to go directly into their respective professional sport at age 18. Politicians should stay out of this issue.
  2. I guess it's easier to convert to "option" than to convert to "modern"

As Joe Biden says..."We believe Truth over Facts"(y)
  3. Juanyeh

This. Plus the error did not cost us this game. Lets move on.
  4. Dabo is … a villain

I am with Dabo on this one. I wouldn't give the ring to a player who quit the team either.
  5. Attrition and Scholarship Limits

I am showing my age, but what does "Triggered" mean? :shame:
  6. Attrition and Scholarship Limits

I agree, as long as the coaches are not targeting certain non-performing players to get them to leave. Again, what you describe is solely the student-athletes decision.
  7. Attrition and Scholarship Limits

Have you seen the basketball movie from 1970's called "One on One"? The basketball player(Robbie Benson) was a highschool phenom recruited by every big name college in the US. He gets to school and can not cut it on the court. The head coach does everything in his power to push the kid off the...
  8. Attrition and Scholarship Limits

I will search for an old thread on this topic so I can catch up.
  9. Attrition and Scholarship Limits

I will let this "play out", but I hope we do not steep down to "Big Boy Football" if it means selling our soul to get a couple more wins in Football. Dodd will be turning over in his grave if pulling scholarships were to occur. I have no problem telling a student/athlete they don't fit into...
  10. Attrition and Scholarship Limits

I keep reading on this forum that coaches plan to kick players off the team to add more players to this years class. I have not read any quote from a coach saying this, but usually where there is smoke, there is fire. Is this true?
  11. Paul Johnson visiting the Ravens today

1 down and 2 to go. Thanks!
  12. Spring Game Postgame Thread

I am glad you posted this, I thought it was a slap in the face of CPJ and his system. CGC has big shoes to fill. As a fan, I really hope it works out, but I could do without the digs against a system and a Coach that helped us win an ACC title.
  13. Your Favorite Underrated GT player?

I hear what your saying, but even at a 4 star, I think he was greatly underrated. I liked Reggie Ball, but he was not the best passing QB. Just imagine the numbers CJ would have put up with an avg passing college QB for 3 years. He was a matchup nightmare for any college CB and NFL CB...
  14. Your Favorite Underrated GT player?

    Shaq Mason, Calvin Johnson.
  15. Does anyone know why Juanyeh has a boot on his foot?

I was told Clemson has a similar system where all students earn preference points to the football games by attending other sports that get little or no support from the student body. I would like to see this implemented at GT, but our Football games will have to sell out before this will happen.
  16. Does anyone know why Juanyeh has a boot on his foot?

Thans for paraphrasing, but brevity is clearly not in your DNA. ;)
  17. Does anyone know why Juanyeh has a boot on his foot?

For those of us too lazy to click and read, would you mind paraphrasing? :D
  18. GA TECH IS BUZZING! | FOOTBALL HOTBED | NATIONAL UNDERCLASSMEN SHOWCASE ..

You are probably right. I was too lazy to look it up. The new staff is working really hard to turn the page on the previous staff and change the message. With more funding and more coaches, they have a chance for better recruiting.
  19. GA TECH IS BUZZING! | FOOTBALL HOTBED | NATIONAL UNDERCLASSMEN SHOWCASE ..

I am sick of people looking into a mystical crystal ball and projecting success. I think the new staff has brought a new energy to GT. I truly hope we have success with the new staff and their ability to recruit and coach. I hope it results in wins on the field. But... at this point, 3...
