I agree, as long as the coaches are not targeting certain non-performing players to get them to leave. Again, what you describe is solely the student-athletes decision.

I keep reading on this forum that coaches plan to kick players off the team to add more players to this years class. I have not read any quote from a coach saying this, but usually where there is smoke, there is fire. Is this true?

I am glad you posted this, I thought it was a slap in the face of CPJ and his system. CGC has big shoes to fill. As a fan, I really hope it works out, but I could do without the digs against a system and a Coach that helped us win an ACC title.

I hear what your saying, but even at a 4 star, I think he was greatly underrated. I liked Reggie Ball, but he was not the best passing QB. Just imagine the numbers CJ would have put up with an avg passing college QB for 3 years. He was a matchup nightmare for any college CB and NFL CB...

I was told Clemson has a similar system where all students earn preference points to the football games by attending other sports that get little or no support from the student body. I would like to see this implemented at GT, but our Football games will have to sell out before this will happen.

You are probably right. I was too lazy to look it up. The new staff is working really hard to turn the page on the previous staff and change the message. With more funding and more coaches, they have a chance for better recruiting.

I am sick of people looking into a mystical crystal ball and projecting success. I think the new staff has brought a new energy to GT. I truly hope we have success with the new staff and their ability to recruit and coach. I hope it results in wins on the field. But... at this point, 3...
