Snitker is scared to death of a starting pitcher throwing 100 pitches. He’s only magnifying the issues the bullpen has had. The last 2 losses have been blown saves but the Swanson error was brutal to start the 9th.

The Braves pitching, as a whole, just isn’t good enough to win many 2-1 type games. I also thought Teheran should’ve gotten one more inning or at least been allowed to start the 7th. It feels like Snitker always has a quick trigger when pulling starters, especially when they’re pitching well...

Where did I admit anything in my response? Where did I defend PJ or his O? I’m a GT fan. I was long before PJ and I’ll be one long after. I just want to see us win. How we do that and what offense we run, means little to me.

And I’m convinced that some people, you may or may not be one, would rather watch us lose just so they can anonymously post on message boards about how smart and right they are. They’re dislike of PJ and/or his system runs deeper than they’re enjoyment of watching us win on Saturdays in the fall.

I'm not sure if they address this or not but what happens if a college player doesn't get drafted, wants to return to his old school, but his scholly has been used for someone else and there's not a scholly left?

I would sign up today for a repeat of the last 4 years, with all of the highs and lows, before I’d sign up for 4 years of Gailey’s 7-5 seasons.

Fortunately, it’s not crazy that we could be 7-1 or 6-2 going into Miami. As usual, it’s always whether you’re a glass half full kinda guy or a glass half empty.

The main reason they were even in 4th and long was a penalty. They took over at their own 8 with about 2:30 left and drove fairly easily to midfield in about a minute. We were only up 2 so all they needed was a FG. That outcome had plenty to do with Roof.

Couple of things.... 1) Even if we had a coach that recruited at a slightly higher level, it doesn’t automatically equate to having a better team or more wins at the end of the day. There’s been plenty of schools that have outrecruited us during his tenure that have had far less success than...

An “average” head coach, at a place like GT, doesn’t win ACC Coach of the Year 3 times in his first 10 seasons. There’s no denying PJ needs to turn this thing around, starting this season, but you’re being silly.

I thought Marshall playing AB his first year or two would’ve helped him play QB in this system but I’m wondering if it’s part of the reason he keeps the ball so much. He’s more of a RB than he is a QB.

CJ left after the 2006 season. PJ was hired before the 2008 season. Their paths never crossed at GT.

And yet our football program has accomplished more under CPJ than it did with Gailey. Once again, the success of a college coach isn't measured by how many of his recruits get drafted or play professionally. If that were the case, we should've never fired Paul Hewitt.

Here's the thing for me...being a good/great college football player doesn't always equate to being a high NFL prospect. There have been a TON of guys that we've had during the PJ era that fans would kill to have back (Roddy, Orwin, Godhigh, Justin T., Uzzi, Nesbitt, etc.) that barely got a...
