I think it is interesting to note that on the 3 big plays from the film, Devine was in on all of them. IMO, he is paramount to our o-line success this year
On another note, I hope this is the spring/year Kallon breaks out. Showed some flashes last season. Could be the difference maker on the d-line and depth if he is able to reach his inner potential. This is his last chance to finally prove himself.
I agree. We all already know how great of a runner MM is. Now, we need for him to specialize in his blocking in the same way the a-backs need to specialize on their perimeter blocking. Two different blocking styles in the offense that need to be mastered if this offense is really going to hum.
Not sure if this has been brought up but does MLD stay at A-back? i think the best course of action for him would be to red-shirt at b-back. Also are we penciling in Marcus Marshall as BB1 and Marcus Allen as BB2? Sounds like all of this may be figured out during spring and fall.
If i remember correctly, last time CPJ spoke at length about the team, he said the starting 3 ABs would be JJ, Cottrell, and possibly Lynn, with the 4th spot to be sorted out in the spring and fall.
It's not hard to figure out why CPJ likes the kid so much. Not often you run across a kid that humble (this coming from a 25 y/o). Any other years outside of JT and Jf'nN, he would be starting, and I am sure would have the full confidence of the fan base.
I think Stacy Searles was CPJ's first choice and Richt swooped in and brought him to UM, so CPJ had to search deeper. I guess time well tell how this hire works out. I was really hoping we would pick someone off of Navy's staff but don't think CPJ was willing to breach that gentleman's agreement...
dude won scout team offensive player of the year his first season on the team; it would be a shame if his desire just went away a year later. huge disappointment losing a huge talent like him, but if he truly isn't interested in playing football, it is probably best for both parties.
According to KQ, looks like wigley isn't the only one. I hope it's not a major piece moving on. Also looks like we have found our 2nd OL coach if that is the assistant he is talking about.
#GaTech FB finalizes a new assistant hire and more attrition (2) for the program. Find out more in the...
Looking back, I wish we could have figured out a way to keep him on staff. I really like the direction he took our D as interim coordinator and he was one of our best recruiters. He is credited for brining in JT and DJ White according to rivals and has done a pretty good job recruiting for FSU...
thats really funny bc I think we were 10 point underdogs last year. just a friendly observation. +4.5 sounds about right to me - i can see it finishing it +6 or +7 by weeks end.

audio really good for this practice. especially at the end about Hunt. Did I hear coach say "weed" or did i mishear him? CPJ seemed pretty upset.
In my opinion, I think the attrition from the 13 class caught up with us. I feel that is why we are forced to play so many freshmen bc the depth from what would have been upperclassmen of the 13 class is all gone. In terms of backs we lost both our recruits, Custis and Wilson. In regards to...
Two things:
1. I feel that you cannot exclude those first quarter yards to surpport your points. The first quarter is still part of the game that we played and we came out out with a good game plan and caught VT off gaurd.
2. You cant forget this is still a Bud Foster Defense that gives us fits...
