You know you bring up good points, but I currently live in the Atlanta area. The number of cars I see with GT stickers and license plates may be equal or even out number those of uga or other schools on a daily basis. I know that is not scientific data by any means, but the point is that in a...
I know it is impossible to turn BDS into an 80K seating mansion, and I do not think it is necessary. If we could fill our stadium to maximum capacity with 85-90% GT fans, I think that would be as impressive of a sight, especially with the back drop of the Atlanta skyline. Fans put a lot of blame...
I think everyone pretty much agrees that rankings are useless early in the season, but I think the networks need them to drive viewers for games and talking points. Hard to hype up games without having some quantitative comparison on the team as a whole, and I think that is the only reason they...
Also don't forgot Corn Elder is starting at CB for us. We had a great shot at landing him as a recruit and then Miami offered super late and he accepted basically on the spot...
I think it is interesting to note that both the LB's for Miami are freshmen according to CPJ... wonder how hard we attack those fellas. Hopefully this is our chance to get the b-back dive rolling.
I agree. Tomorrow will also be a true test of our pass pro, and if it is as improved as we think it is, it will also help us get out of a lot of trouble (especially in situation where we get behind in down-and-distance). I also think Butker is going to be a huge asset for us, not only in kick...
I understand it is a Thursday evening game, and it is not easy for everyone to make it down, so I figured we could make tickets thread to keep the tickets within the GTSwarm community.
I will start it off. I am actually looking for two tickets, preferably lower level along the 40 or 30 yard...
I couldn't agree more. I was also thinking how him as an OC also frees us up to have another coach helping with another group. It is a dual effect that I really hadn't thought of.
Anyone surprised we haven't seen Tyler Cooksey play? I know he is a RS Fresh, so is still developing, but he was one of our higher rated defensive players from the 15 class and would like to see what he could have done against Mercer.
I am interested in seeing Nigel Bowden for Vandy. If I remember correctly, he was down to us and them and went with Vandy. He is currently listed as their starting ILB on the most recent depth chart.
from listening to coach, it seems that MM's blocking is too much of a liability to keep in there for an extended about of time. i agree with the assessment that MM looks good running the ball. I guess we will see how the season progresses with both backs.
From post practice audio today. He is not pleased with the performance.
