    Ted Roof's job

I have to say, after listening to Johnson's post game presser, I logged in here and saw this thread, and just for a minute, I thought maybe there had been a change. It was as frustrated as I've ever heard Johnson, and leads me to believe we may be getting to that point

I mean, sort of? One of the benefits of recruiting a dual threat qb is because they can make something out of nothing with some consistency. we run sprintouts with the idea un mind that if nobody is open, jt can tuck it and make something happen with his feet. Teams have to prepare like its a...

Good post. This one made me think, and maybe reevaluate roof a little.

    Clinton Lynch

Hes fast enough, but he doesn't have blow you away speed. That's the thing about him, he's not the fastest guy, not the biggest guy, not the shiftiest guy, but he is fluid, and he's big enough fast enough and Shifty enough that it comes together to form a nice all-around back.

    Clinton Lynch

Has turned into a really useful A-Back. He's had at least 79 yards from scrimmage in 5 of the last 6 games.

Again, I think you're not really being fair. The fumble was at the 50 yard line. It's not as if they turned it over in teh redzone or something. The defense still had to let them march it half the field. I am wth you, though, the defense can't be blamed for the TD after the ST turnover.

So, I just went and checked. The offense had 2 drives in the 3rd quarter. 1 was a fumble, the 2nd resulted in a field goal. I mean, it's not the greatest thing ever, but it's also not messing the bed completely.

Yeah, but he's not crazy either. Vt is probably a loss. UNC is somewhere between a loss and a coin flip. UGA and UVa are both coin flips. It would only be slightly surprising to me if you guys lost out. My guess is you win too, maybe 1.

I'm of the opinion that Marshall really ought to be an a back. He's got the wheels for it, he's got the hands for it, he's got the 1 cut ability for it. Mostly though, he's got the temperament for it. He's a guy who wants to bust it long, not a guy who wants to put his head down and get 3.

At this point, you guys are what you are, a middle-of-the-road ACC program. You've got a hard to prepare for offense that scores a lot of points and will keep you in most games. You've got an easy to prepare for defense that gives up a lot of points and will keep the opposition in most...

The FBS and the big problem in the future

I mean, it's all valid. Combine this with the fact that football is demonstrably bad for you, and less kids playing, and I wonder what the future of the game is. Like, I love football. I played it for 12 years. My brothers played in college. I watch college football for hours every single...
