I will never understand how he can pitch lights out in summer league, but struggle when he pitches for us.

I think I read somewhere that Burress' size didn't have a lot of room to grow and that some scouts thought he was already at his ceiling.

Still wrapping my head around the fact that Burress didn't get drafted, he had the lowest chance of making it to campus, IMO.

I had already assumed he was gone due to the draft. Didn't expect him back for next year.

Will be interesting to see where he is drafted vs what he can get from 1 year of NIL and then go in the draft again next year. I wish him the best, it's been great to see his development from when he got to Tech.

Two summers in a row he has been lights out, really hope we can have that next spring.

My guess is that it's through back channels, HS coaches other people close to him. Or it's using current players at other schools that have a relationship with him.

Brosius is having a season in the Northwoods league. .413/.531/.547 with 15 steals and a 14-16 BB to K. I think he gets one of the outfield spots next year, and probably hits leadoff. Craska playing pretty well for a HS SR as well.
