Yea I guess the idea is to use his status as an alumnus to get the "in" for Wheeler? He was hired as an assistant for 2008 (right after I graduated), but before the season even started he accepted a different offer, so I don't know how that was viewed. I feel like hiring his brother would do...
Florida and Nebraska have the most users on CFB, but I don't know how many of their 900ish users participate each day. Bama is only at like 60 more users than us
Eh prior to the red card we were dominating KC. Hard to say we played poorly when we're playing the best team in the West down a man, and not just down a man... down our starting GK when our two backup keepers are both injured so we have to throw a rookie into the fire. It was a really poor...
To be fair, I don't think it's surprising they filled it for soccer. To the average American sports fan it's probably surprising bc the average American sports fan doesn't care about soccer , but Atlanta has a massive international community. I mean Mexico vs Nigeria sold out the Dome several...
So the kid wanted to go to Kansas, but his legal guardian had already "sold" him to another school and Adidas had to pony up some money in a counter bid? Man that's pretty messed up... so some kid could be responsible for the school he wanted to go to getting in trouble because his legal...
Ok thanks for that info. So they were higher rated than I thought. I guess my point stands that I'm hoping the good of them coming here was less a result of Chad dollar and more the result of something else. Picturing a bizzaro world where they both went to Georgia is unnerving.
I hope he doesn't live up to your expectations at UGA.
I saw he was listed as the lead recruiter for MGH and Okogie. In hindsight it looks really good but if I remember they weren't highly rated players compared to how they ended up playing. So either Dollar or someone had a good eye for...
I'm a more recent alumni, but I've had to explain that to the majority of my friends who graduated with me. They don't put it out there in bold print that this is the case either.
Wow... that's shocking. He's led them to like 3 straight 20+ win seasons 2 regular season championships, 1 conference tourney title, and the schools ONLY NCAA appearance.
Bold strategy Cotton
I also think if Crean does have any kind of success, he won't be long for UGA. They may have the money, but not the prestige when it comes to basketball.
I know the ACC won it all via UNC but aside from that we didn't do great last year and the SEC did and so far this year the SEC is doing better than the ACC... what is going on?
I don't think any of the 2018 draft projections have had him even in the 2nd round. The projections for him in 2019 have been better. It's possible he impresses some teams and gets drafted, but I feel like this will be a pure evaluation for him to improve his draft stock in 2019.
