Wish we could recruit at the level of Clempson but I don't see that happening. We lose enough good players to be worried about next year and return enough to be excited about next year. With what I have seen from our young guys this year, I am more optimistic about next year.
Yep I am from Savannah and "Swamp Rat" Dewey Warren the qb for Tennessee was from Savannah so that game was the talk of the town. TN was favored. If I recall correctly they had more field goal attempts (3?) in the game but we made both of ours .That was a great game.
Watkins catch against Clemson was incredible. So glad you mentioned it. I give this one the nod because it's combination of both a block and a TD return was more improbable than that catch.
I think teams may adjust some on long field goals but the vast majority of field goals aren't returnable. It's a rare situation and to risk making the field goal by using different personnel just in case the ball stays within the field of play and is returned doesn't make much sense to me...

Agree, we are in a desperate situation as far as bowl hopes are concerned and the team knows it. I just hope we get some of the injured players back and can pull this one out.
To Boomer's point about Cook being wide open when we rushed 3, those weren't the only 2 times. The play before their second field goal, we rushed 3 and Cook was wide open as he slid out in the left flats. They showed a replay and the announcer commented that Golson should have thrown it to him...
