Pretty sure that schools like UGAG can't get much more complicated than that without fearing a misunderstanding with some of their prospects. Many factories use "YES" and in the small print below state "as long as we don't have a better player"
Favorite WR Kelly Campbell
Most Underrated WR Kerry Watkins
Favorite Single WR Play Kerry Watkins for the win vs Clemson ( I was at a Clemson fan's house watching the game, so sweet)
Best Opposing WR Performance #5 from Clemson in 2014. Milton stepped in front of him for a...
Could another factor be the time of year that the two teams play? Over the course of a season many injuries occur and players just get banged up. Having more depth allows you to spread the nagging injuries out and where season ending injuries occur, having a deeper bench has got to help.
Guess I am overly optimistic as usual but I think we will be exceptionally strong up the middle and that both Burden and Devine can be all-ACC. If that happens we should certainly have a fun year.
Good reports like this certainly make me excited for the upcoming season. If Shamire and Griffin are at full strength along with all the young talent, this may be a great year.
Hopefully you are just being sarcastic and not trying to exemplify the point I was trying to make. There are tons of great kids with exactly the same aspiration and coaching is a great profession with a powerful impact on young people.
So true. As someone who didn't go to Tech I am surprised when some people on the board seem to think that most prospects should both want a TECH degree and accurately appraise the value of it. To select a school where you know that 1) your football commitment will require countless hours of...
It certainly be interesting to me to have a rough idea of how much smaller the "smaller pool to fish" actually is. Maybe that work has been done and I am simply unaware, but if not you would think that the coaches already have a rough idea of what % of D1 prospects typically would fit TECH's...
Even your selected quotes proves he qualifies the statements "it could turn off some recruits..." and "Some recruits may eliminate...". I don't recall that he claimed to have firm evidence of losing recruits, but shared a concern, apparently based on logical inference (not simply "conduct that...
It's always easy to criticize the other person's position by hyperbolizing what they said. Techster's statement that the "Bottom line for me when it comes to the press: They can be an asset or a liability for our program. I'd much rather them be an asset in helping us change the narrative of...
Unfortunately you make some very good points. As best I can tell, CPJ and I have some similar personality traits such as being frank when asked about facts and enjoying friendly sarcastic banter (basically, a perfect personality :)). Studies have shown that millennials as a whole are more...
Good point but I was trying to have a mix of offense and defense (I hate that offensive players tend to dominate this type of list) and Joe Hamilton edged Lothridge out in my mind as he was so much fun to watch and should own a Heisman. Lenny Snow was also a consideration from that era but...
True but I can't remember being impressed with our pass rush in a long time, and not to be too critical, if we can't show a strong rush against our non-stellar pass blocking line I will not harbor the hope that it will suddenly appear once we play teams that pass well.
I want to see Kallon play like we hoped Jabari would play last year and see strong evidence we will have a formidable pass rush. If that happens I will be pumped for the regular season.
