I get the concern, but I think a bit of math might give you a way to think about this differently. When designing products, it is smart to figure out the segment of the population that has a natural reason to select your product over substitutes and then designing the features/benefits of those...

How about simply this. I don't think we'll need permission for either, and if we order today (minimum 6) we can get it by next Friday for about $40 each. Not trying to hijack a great idea, but I went to make one for myself for the spring game and realized we need a minimum of six to order.
