  1. Gameday!!!!!

    No turnovers and we win.
  2. Boycott Sweetwater

That sounds like good business for Tech and the GT related breweries.
  3. PFF Grades Through UNC Game

Regarding pass protection, it really looks like Sims takes a deeper drop or rolls out a little deeper than Yates. Yates is pretty good at staying in the pass protection pocket, but that breaks down too quickly or Yates is holding the ball a little too long. Both quarterbacks have a bunch of...
  4. Pitt - NOON Kick

Noon games don't bother me anymore since I've gotten use to them especially if they're played in October or November. Now if we were opening at the first of September at noon against Southwestern North Carolina A&M State, I wouldn't be pleased.
  5. Jordan Yates

Actually in an AJC interview this morning, one of the receivers talked about how Yates encouraged the players in the huddle during the Clemson game. That's leadership.
  6. Jordan Yates

I haven't read all 6 pages of this thread, but this is supposed to be a sense of humor thingy....right?
  7. Boycott Sweetwater

I sent an email asking about companies selling products at Bobby Dodd if they contributed to the GTAA and referenced Sweetwater. I wish there was a list of companies that are anti-Tech so I could avoid them.
  8. #GTvsCLEM Postgame

That builds my confidence in our coaching staff. I know there's some stuff to improve on, but huge coaching improvement.
  9. Hire Geoff Collins

Now is the time to put the petal to the metal. We can do it.
  10. Hire Geoff Collins

The staff is doing a much better job today. I'm finally impressed, but we got another half to go. Good move to use a huddle.
  11. Gameday!!!

    You misspelled dwag.
  12. Game 3 #GTvsCLEM Predictions

Could it have been the weight lifting equipment on the sideline when we opened at Clemson? https://www.saturdaydownsouth.com/college-football/watch-georgia-tech-debuts-unique-pregame-routine-in-first-game-of-geoff-collins-era/
  13. Early line: Clemson by 29

Losing by 70 pretty much hurts the program in many ways. National image Recruiting The ability to attract new fans Ticket sales Revenue We're not ready this year or next, but as the old saying goes, pay back is hell. One day with or without Collins, Tech needs to kick Clemson's a**.
  14. Early line: Clemson by 29

Because the coaching staff did not do this last year and bingo 73-7. If their defense is that good, they will smother Tech's offensive line. Our defense will wind up playing 80% of the game. Last year we got to the point where we were struggling to make tackles in the 4th quarter.
  15. Early line: Clemson by 29

We need to slow this game down, burn a lot of clock. Please don't run a hurry up offense and please don't turn the ball over. If we can hold them to under 40 points I guess I will be pleased.
  16. Mostly “Fire Geoff Collins”, some reminiscing, maybe bourbon or other distractions

It was not a pre-game event, it was half-time. Tech also honored former Tech players who served in the Military.
  17. Mostly “Fire Geoff Collins”, some reminiscing, maybe bourbon or other distractions

I just saw this and I was going to post something about that boneheaded move. Blowing whistles in the end zone. That drill could have waited. Today is 9/11. Come on coach. And what happened to the American flag the team use to carry onto the field? Why?
  18. Mostly “Fire Geoff Collins”, some reminiscing, maybe bourbon or other distractions

I'm really not trying to be funny. I don't think I've observed any situation since he's been our coach that he has made adjustments that benefited us during a game.
  19. Game 2 #KSUvsGT Predictions

If Sims doesn't fumble, we stand a chance. Has there ever been a game where Sims didn't turn the ball over?
  20. Thread to actually discuss football

That sounds reasonable, but you've to figure in the Collins factor.
