I don't know John. Most of what I saw in the bowl game was a bunch of jet sweeps and dives with very few plays run out of the diamond or pistol formations. Of course, everybody sees the evidence to support their viewpoint and I am no different. For all I know we could have run those...
I agree with this completely. I believe he is driven to succeed from an internal motivation, not from fear of being fired. However, I am not sure that motivation is enough to overcome his resistance to change. College football is evolving and PJ isn't.
And when I say change I am not...
I have already stated I am an anti-CPJ guy. However, I will try and defend him on a couple of points:
1. The Sean Poole play was a read by the punter. He falsely believed he could make it. CPJ probably takes that decision away from him in the future. As long as it is not a problem next...
JD is just saying what many other GT fans are saying. It is time for CPJ to take some bold steps to salvage his legacy as a coach. And I am not talking about hiring a new line coach or throwing in diamond or pistol formations about five times a game. I mean evaluate every facet of this...

I am an avid hunter (just not very good at it). I love watching and talking about sports. This seems like a really...
Just migrated over here from another board. While I enjoyed the discussion over there, I did not enjoy the personal attacks (which I certainly engaged in). I like the fact that football can be discussed passionately without that.
Thanks to the moderators for laying down the rules. Good to...
