So widely accepted that the ACC was the deepest conference this year. Overall records and RPIs suffer due to playing a 36 game schedule and it results in the SEC getting (potentially) 7 hosts and the ACC only 2. How is that even possible.

Id need to investigate schedules a bit but I know I’d lower our odds due to Clemson being in our schedule. The tiers for me are: UNC, Miami Tech, Pitt, VPI, UVA Duke

Looks like all we have to do is match Pitts record down the stretch to win the Coastal unless we both go 6-0. Then we’d have identical win % and they’d get the H2H tie breaker. This is assuming we don’t tank and get passed by somebody else.

Might want to take a gander at the number of commits for the ‘21 classes. Their class was significantly worse. Their back to back ‘20/‘21 classes were one of the worst combos in P5. Literally nobody in the recruiting world would say they’re recruiting better than us right now.

Im in DC and surrounded by them. I think the casual VPI fan isn’t really zeroed in on recruiting and their schedules have been incredibly soft the last couple years (last decade really). So they’re annoyed that they’re not competing for the ACC right now, but aren’t really seeing the impending...

VPI has added I believe two 4* players to their roster since NSD 2019 (1 recruit and 1 transfer). The way their 2023 class is trending they’re gonna have a bottom 3rd roster in the ACC as soon as 2022. That’s gonna put them on par with Duke, Cuse, WF, and BC. Their 2022 roster might end up...
