Don't remember who said it but supposedly on the missed fg by butker, the holder had trouble getting the laces right. Doesn't excuse him from missing the other gimme fgs this year but atleast he hit the one counted (even though it was like an extra point).

One of my faves was in the 3rd quarter (I think) where JT ran up the middle and one of their DL thought he was gonna grab him up high but JT ducked down just enough for the big guy to completely whiff and JT actually snuck through 2 defenders for about a 10 yard gain.

I thought maybe JT might be a step slower after that play. He looked like he had already played a 6 quarter game. But he went into beast mode and even turned it up a few notches. I hate that questionable penalty deflated him even if it was just a little.

I thought about this too. I think 2 years ago through the first 3 games we averaged 60 points a game but then we struggled when we faced the big boys later in the year. I have been hoping the battles that we have been winning will help us in the long run
