The one that drives me nuts is the old "the GT offense needs to stay on schedule".... Is there any offense that doesn't? It is about as insightful as saying the key to winning this game is to outscore your opponent.

I have heard the announcers say that line about us "not built for 3rd and long", and I gotta say with JT under center we are not all that disadvantaged. Most offenses that's a clear throwing down and they can play off and sell out for pass, but if you try to play that against our standard formation we can easily gash you for 10+ on the ground. That's why you still see basic defensive looks and we end up converting on a pass with a 1 man route.
