In this case I was just responding to the picture of the child but it is true that defense purposefully try to disrupt blocking assignments. it is always a positive when you can keep a player from achieving their assignment. If our lineman can't get to the linebacker then he is unblocked.

Personally I would want to have the game played however if we are a good team there are plenty enough games to show it. Theoretically we should have about 1/12 less "in game" injuries/dings by not playing. The impact from that will never be known but it is one positive of not playing.

Other than insightful criticism of some of your posts regarding the defense;), they mostly parroted the normal verbiage about "playing faster" "finishing the game" etc.

Makes sense. It is the only way to keep from ever having to play us.
