Any idea who's starting the evening game?

So glad he's back. There were a number of times this game could have gone differently. Compton's save, Jack's big hit right after what should have been strike 3, just to start. I'm excited to see this roster getting healthy. We can do some post season damage if we square up the pitching.

All their games have been on the road so far, too. I imagine there's a lot of fatigue behind traveling that often. Hopefully homefield can be a factor for us as well.

Agreed - Dawson didn't perform like we needed him to, but he didn't get support. Defense was full of errors, and we didn't score until the 9th. I'm just glad he held on as long as he did. The last thing we needed was a loss AND and exhausted bullpen.

Bright side is when I check the box score and see we're down a handful of runs after one inning, I just shrug. I know we'll eventually get bit playing this way against bigger opponents, but this team is surely resilient.

That's because it has been. The last 5 games have been: 13-12 W 6-10 L 4-3 W 7-6 W 3-1 W That's a 4-1 record, but those games were all close as can be. 33-32 run differential overall, too.

The first weekend is just that - one weekend. But Tennessee starting 1-2 is definitely worth noting.

I think they were updating it as it got released, but uga was a known quantity so they filled it in early.
