  1. Brent Key is not the answer

Here’s what I posted on the other site: I know some are hit and miss on Key, but I for one really like his approach and the type of person he is. He’s not polished, but he’s REAL. He has a ton of emotion, he’s honest but optimistic, and he has a clear vision around our execution. I also really...
  2. #GTvsMIA Postgame

Lol, that’s one game from forever ago. Miami fans have proven they are horrible through hard work and consistency. They really make an effort to be d**ks
  3. #GTvsMIA Postgame

Classy Miami fans throwing water bottles at Leary after the TD. I said “Typical Miami Hurricanes” about 10 times tonight. I had to explain to my son that Miami is the champion of stupid mistakes/penalties. And then the last :30 happened and proved me right.

If you need a place to crash you can sleep at my place.
  5. Damon Stoudamire Pre-Season Press Conference

And beat UNC with that shot from the foul line. I was in Chapel Hill (grad school) for that game watching with my future wife at a bar. When he hit that shot, I screamed in a completely quiet bar. We got out of there pretty quick.
  6. Damon Stoudamire Pre-Season Press Conference

Makes me think of having Jack and Bynum on the same team, they could both break down individual defenders.
  7. Haynes King Update: How Do We Feel About Him?

I still see that pass to the TE in my head. That was a STRIKE. Just shows what he can do.
  8. Haynes King Update: How Do We Feel About Him?

His son is also a pretty amazing QB, he brought some big skill position players with him.
  9. Game 4 Georgia Tech @ Wake Forest (-7)

Lol, so true. That was a weird game, but happy for the team and happy to walk away with a win. I’m still trying to understand how we got 8 sacks.
  10. Game 4 Georgia Tech @ Wake Forest (-7)

I loved the option offense, still do. I liked the strategic aspect of play calling and that a lot of it allowed you to counter very athletic teams. Let’s face it, we will have to execute better than a lot of teams to be a championship team as we’re not going to pull Top 5 recruiting classes...
  11. Game 4 Georgia Tech @ Wake Forest (-7)

We held the ball for 40:00 against Ole Miss. that’s a huge TOP advantage.
  12. Conference Realignment

You guys can just look it up. Army and Navy have a single game deal with CBS that in 2008 was $5M for that game. Army has its own deal with CBS, just like ND. Can’t find the dollar value.

This is where he ended up: https://www.bop.gov/locations/institutions/vim/

  15. Haynes King Update: How Do We Feel About Him?

Exactly. And is more accurate than anyone I can remember since Godsey. And has good arm strength with touch. Areas for improvement are holding the ball a little too long (more on OC, really) and putting a little more air under his long ball, but I couldn’t be happier that those are the things...
  16. Louisville Post Game

I agree, he’s capable of a lot. I haven’t seen a good anticipatory throw from a GT QB in what seems like forever, but I saw it last night. Not just strong throws, but good throws mostly. He’s got good touch, also. His wheels are an unexpected plus.
  17. Brent Key Coach’s Show Makes 2023 Debut on Aug. 30

That Maryland game was awesome, I consider that to be the turning point of the program (at least, that iteration of the team). After suffering through 1992 - 1994, it was a big deal. We really should've beat Arizona. And Rudy was offsides.
  18. GT-UofL score predictions?

  19. GOLD IS BACK ON THE MCCAMISH FLOOR!

That's a nice looking basketball court.
  20. Haynes King starting vs. UL

Coach said he's not going to keep him on a short leash, I expect they will give him room to play. Doubt you see Pyron in the first game unless it's a late blowout or a total crater.
