Absolutely huge addition if true. This dude is a legit ace. Went 11-3 this year with a 2.21 ERA and 151 Ks in 106 innings to only 14 walks.

He's a 6'6 lefty that throws in the low to mid 90s with a nasty breaking ball. He has not been what we expected at Tech but his performance in the Cape plus his measurables usually get drafted anyways.

Cam came in 2022 so I don't think he has that Covid year.

Probably all of our juniors hope to get drafted. Some guys also just don't play summer ball when they are juniors.

I just looked into this and Lodise looks like a very good pickup. He hit .370 with 14 HRs and more walks than strikeouts this year. The one thing that needs to improve is his defense. We'll see how he improves but I imagine Kerce will be at SS and Lodise at 2B.

I just can't understand why we didn't go with Dawson Brown. I know he pitched in the first game but he was ready and came into the game anyways last night to get it to the bottom of the 9th. If he was ready and there, why not use him?? That's the one that really gets me.

Being only 1 game.over .500 doesn't deserve a bid. I don't care what schedule they played. We have some high end wins too against host teams. Like we swept NC State and took the series against UVA. We also avoided sweeps against Florida State and Clemson.

I know we didn't win our way in but Florida does not deserve to get in over us or any of the other 3 last 4 in. What exactly has Florida done this year????
