How about we live in the present. GT is 7-5 and finished 2nd in their division in the coastal. That's a decent (not great) result for a program with crappy fan support, crappy facilities, and one of the lower paid coaching staffs in the P5.

Last I checked, Gailey didn't recruit the 14 or 16 teams. And, if you REALLY believe that GT is comparable to LSU, then I think maybe you are who I was talking about in my post about "you don't know how good you have it"

Your fans provide a mediocre environment. Your administration pays mediocre salaries. You have mediocre facilities. You have been ok with mediocrity for a long time, you just have had a series of coaches good enough to overcome the mediocrity they were handed.

Agreed, ,but REALLY it's somebody who distributes the ball. TQM is a lot of things, but a natural distributor is not one of them. He's 10 times the athlete Tevin Washington was, but Washington was a better QB because he made the reads and distributed the ball

Even so, you're STILL not going to be UGA. Fan support and money will help against peer programs. UGA is not a peer program. They have said "damn the price, we're going to compete for titles" So has Clemson.
