You are right. I don't know how better to word "no political posts outside of the politic topics forum" though. I would have thought that included "quoting" and "replying" since those are inherently posts themselves but clearly some still do not (want to) understand.
I expected some to try to...
It'll be great if those that understand the new politics discussion rule refrain from quoting/replying to those that break it and just report it. Otherwise I may need to add this as one of the requirements of allowing access to the politics forum.
Will make the cleanup easier for the mods...
Taking a wild guess here, correct me if I'm wrong: you didn't read my first post in this thread. :)
But *ahem* there are moderators that have been itching for this change and looks like one got moved to the political topics forum already. :D
Sure. Politics can be an angle in a lot of discussions. We just don't need to add that angle. If it's that important to discuss the political angle, pop a thread in the politics forum so those that want to/enjoy political discussion can discuss that angle.
All can assume we will move political topics to the subforum aggressively.
This new policy is allowing everyone to decide for themselves just how important it is to inject politics into everything. If it's worth risking racking up warnings and eventually getting themselves banned for the sake...
(I think I said I was going to post this a month or two ago. Finally getting around to it. Apologies for the delay.)
There has been an influx of personal attacks in the lounge as well as politics being injected into non-political threads which results in what should be considered a benign...
Doing some site maintenance this weekend, most likely tonight between 1am-3am EST.
The site may not be accessible during those times. I'll put up a site-wide notice 15-30 minutes before I take it down. Should take less than an hour if everything goes as planned.
No big changes impacting...
Hey guys, please help keep this thread on topic.
Pro-CPJ folks, I understand that you guys believe that he was best for GT but he did retire. You all have been the optimists of the bunch and it would be great to see that continue into the CGC era. I know I will support CGC as much as I can as...
I just watched two highlight videos from Temple's season and they just seem to run pure shotgun zone read, rpo, and speed option stuff. If anything the two highlights I watched, they had a lot of success running the speed option from shotgun.
Love the passion our fanbase has. Doesn't mean some modicum of civility goes out the window.
Please do not make a disagreement into something personal and ugly.
It may be hard to believe but if anyone has ever stuck around after a COFH game, you'd notice that there are actually quite a few players on both sides that get together to shake hands, embrace, and take a picture together. I always assumed it was due to some of these players having been...
This thread is, not surprisingly and inevitably, completely off topic. May I suggest you read this post (and the post he is quoting) by @Boomergump and follow up in this thread?

Only thing I'll say about Coach Mac is that a lot of his players seemed to have a lot of respect for him. I remember after both the Orange Bowl win and TaxSlayer Bowl wins on the field, he was busy because players (presumably seniors) kept coming up to him to give him a hug and say thanks and...
