I would make the argument we had more talent at every single defensive position on that team than our current team. Many of those backups would start on this team. I can't remember the last time time both defensive ends beat their blocks on the same play like those third and fourth down plays.

They were a godawful team and we lost to them. They went winless in the SEC. We then proceeded to beat four ACC teams. What does that say about the ACC?

We did not “beat the snot out of UT.” We lost to the worst Tennessee team of all-time. A team that lost to every team they played in conference. Claiming a moral victory over an Illinois type team is embarrassing. Georgia, LSU, Missouri, and Vandy best the snot out of UT.

I blame Florida and Tennessee for this nightmare scenario. Ugag is finally realizing their potential and those two are in total disarray. We are going to regret how many games we lost against bad Mutt teams in Richt’s twilight years because our window of opportunity is being slammed shut.

Somewhere in the 5-7 to 7-5 range. A good team wins 9 against that schedule so I would say he put together a good team. Double digits would be a great regular season. Another losing season and it should be adios.
