Fire Paul johnson for Taking Tobais Oliver out of the game

My first real memories were 95/96ish. I went to games before that but don’t remember much. CPJ has over the past 3+ years is the worst coach I’ve seen on the Flats. Two losing seasons in three years is bad. Losing to MTSU at home is bad. Going 3-9 is really bad. Looking slow and weak against a...

Don’t hurt your wrist patting your back so hard.

    Talent Questions

The implication is certainly that there is less than the majority of Tech teams in the past 30 years. No one seems willing to dispute that. They’re too busy white knighting because they know it’s true.

    Talent Questions

I don’t agree. 2010 was definitely more talented. How about pre-2009?

    Talent Questions

Did I say either of those things? I asked when we had a less talented team. The state of the program is the talent of the program and the leadership thereof. Quit obfuscating.

Fire Paul johnson for Taking Tobais Oliver out of the game

He should be fired because our SR QB repeatedly throws short of the sticks in the middle of the field with less than 2 minutes and no timeouts. He should be fired because our KO coverage team looked totally overmatched athletically by USF. He should be fired because a gangly white QB that runs...

    Talent Questions

It’s pointless to discuss the state of the program? Why do we discuss anything on this board then? Stupid take.

    Talent Questions

How is a question about comparing the state of our team to previous ones a horrible thread? Is it because you know the answer is mid 90s or mid to late 80s?

    1. How far back do you have to go in Georgia Tech history to find a team with less talent than the current iteration? 2. How far back to find a pre-CPJ Georgia Tech team with less talent?

    USF Postgame Discussion

Given the mental mistakes this team has consistedly made the past few years one (or both) of the following has to be true: 1. Our players are not smarter than every other schools (as is claimed by our fans as nauseum) 2. Our coaches are not doing a good job of instructing our players.

Georgia Tech vs. South Florida Predictions #GTvsUSF

Tech 38-35. They’re gonna carve us up passing and we’re gonna run all over them. We’ll take the lead with 1 minute left and hold on for dear life.

The most disappointing stat from yesterday was...attendance.

The following things do not attract bandwagon fans: - our lack of sustained success since the 60s - the snobbery of our alumni / fan base - the fact that we have generally played a style of football seen as boring since 2001 - an inept marketing department - a lack of star power - a grumpy...

    GT (-3.5) at USF

This assignment football thing is funny. You stop the option by beating blocks just like every other offense. If you don't beat blocks and our QB makes the right read it doesn't make a difference if you played your assignment or not. If you want to stop us blow up the point of attack. If you...

Is this really an illegal block

This is why big plays are important. Everyone loves the death march but the possibilities of fumbling are magnified when you can’t hit the big play.

    Taquan Marshall

I’d argue Goose had a terrific 2001. Most completions and yards in school history. He did have some untimely interceptions. Ted Roof and Joe Burns turned a 10+ win team into an 8-5 team. I wish we could go back to the days that 8-5 was a disappointment.
