Will Roddy replace Rick Strom

So, Rick Strom is leaving his GT radio duties this fall.

With Roddy helping out in the booth for the spring game, do you think he'll take on that responsibility in the Fall? He's also done work in Baseball, iiuc.

i think Nolan Alexander would serve well in that position if Roddy doesnt.

Roddy was excellent during the spring game and has been a great ambassador for GT athletics. I'd love for him to get the position.

I don't listen to the radio broadcasts, but Roddy did a damn good job during the spring game. For the Tech fans who do listen to the radio calls, I'd pick him as the color guy.

Roddy is good. I really like Nolan Alexander. He does the baseball and kind of grows on you. Just graduated.

I'm just kidding. I really enjoyed listening to Rick's commentary alongside Wes all these years. Wish him and his family nothing but the best!

With that said, I think Roddy has been doing a great job with some of the audio/video work he's been doing for the GTAA.

Roddy has charisma and he presents himself very well. While obviously articulate and comfortable speaking to the masses, he also has the inside knowledge of the systems we run and the coaches etc. He is the obvious choice in my mind.
