Why didn't we see more of the Bgap dive and/or midline in other games?

Surely he's talking to someone in the box who's giving him the D's alignments and tendencies. Anyone know who that is?
It is several coaches. Each one has a specific defender to watch. The combination of what they see is synthesized by cpj. As he has said many times there is only so many things they can
do. He's seen every combination so many times he could call the game with his eye's closed. Absolutely the best in his offense

Slowly but surely CPJ has been building an offense that will be a problem for all GT opponents now and into the future. The offensive line for the first time has road graders not only in the GCG positions, but all across the front line as well as tremendous depth.

Add to that a QB like Justin Thomas who can run this offense in much the same way that Jamielle Holiway did at Oklahoma under Barry Switzer and it becomes a DC's worst nightmare. Add in some stout WR's and you can see what can be accomplished against some of the best defenses in the country.

With Ted Roof doing his job with the defense this program is just now starting to scratch the surface of success. If CPJ had this type of offensive line back when he first arrived at Tech, he would have been able to compete against LSU and Iowa in those Bowl Games.

He is looking at goals much bigger than just beating the Mutts and the ACC Championships these next two years and now he has the players to get the Yellow Jackets there.

Clemson gave us the most trouble. UGA and MSU had success for a half before we adjusted.

Big physical linemen that can stuff the middle and string out a toss are going to be the ones that make us work for our yardage. We used to get shut down by that but this year we had more weapons or confidence to keep plugging away and it worked.

We also had a qb who could make something from nothing with his legs.

Yup. Clemson, by far gave us the toughest time. Agreed. We couldn't sustain much. We hit some big plays, but we were unable to consistently get 3 or 4 yards. That is problematic for any offense, especially ours. Obviously, it was a huge win for us. Defense was not their problem.

Clemson was # 1 in defense this entire season. They pounded Oklahoma in the Champs Bowl. I'm not going to waste my time checking, but I'm certain Oklahoma has more stars players on offense than we do. In fact, they have the all time single game rushing record holder at RB who didn't do much against those Tigers. Boomer Sooner.

Clemson had a bad...bad second half vs uga. I think Clemson beats them 2/3 times in a series. Chad Morris called a horrible 2nd half....continued to try hurry up play after stuffed play....It kept putting the D back on the field almost immediately after getting a stop and the D got totally gassed and fell apart. The hurry up has certainly helped win them some games but those offensive play calls vs the mutts doomed them. Clemson had without doubt the best D in the land this year.
