I'm torn, I like lots of players for England and Croatia.
I think this has been the best World Cup since 1982. I think France will beat Croatia 4-2.Great game. France has too many studs for Croatia to deal with.
The 3rd place game is just dumb, the players don't want to be there. Their season starts in a month, they need to get ready. And it will be a rematch from the group stage when they played each other already with nothing on the line.
This has been the best World Cup in the past 20yrs.

I'm a big fan of the Premier League,Scottish League and Bundesliga Soccer as well as MLS SoccerI only picked up watching soccer 3yrs ago and it's now a passion of mine to follow as far as sports. The whole promotion/relegation system is absolutely beautiful. There are major leagues, a la Power 5 conferences, and the top 4 from these leagues qualify for the Champions League esch year, which is equivalent to our BCS/Playoff system. The way I try to describe it to my cfb buddies is this: Imagine Wake or Vandy or Indiana or Kansas finishing last in their league last year, so they get replaced by the conference with a winner of a lower division, a la Troy, Cincy, Western Kentucky etc...and Wake, Kansas etc have to drop down a year and dominate that lower conference to earn their way back up the following year. Those smaller teams that were promoted now reap the benefits of being in a big conference for a year, and they reap the financial benefits with the big boys. Playing in these soccer leagues is a privilege, not a right, unlike cfb. Kansas can be Kansas for a decade and they don't get punished, but they should. The whole system is absolutely fascinating. I only wish my die hard cfb buddies and myself were actually following soccer when we were in college. It would've been more epic than following cfb.
My Saturday mornings in the fall now consist of me getting up and putting on a pot of coffee at 5am for the 6am English Premier League games (ManU, ManCity, Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham etc), then hunkering in for the 10am La Liga matches (Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Sevilla), and then all of our cfb games start to kickoff while Ligue 1 (PSG, Monaco, Lyon), Bundesliga League (Bayern Munich, Dortmund), Serie A League (Juventus,Napoli, Roma) are playing.
If you're a cfb die hard I believe you would love the international soccer leagues. They are just like the power 5 conferences we have in cfb.
In 2006 Juventus was relegated down to a farmer's league because they had a bad year, they weren't even in Serie A. Now they dominate Serie A and just signed the biggest player on the planet. Its fascinating.
Leicester City actually won the EPL 2 years ago over all the English powers.
I'm addicted. I highly recommend jumping into the soccer world for any sports fans.

I think the MLS is getting better but Atlanta United leads in attendance by a wide margin and it isn't even close. Most of the up and coming players in the MLS are from Latin America.I don't know much about Scottish League and I refuse to get on board with MLS since they play in summer when the real leagues in Europe aren't playing, as well as the talent is abysmal compared to the 5 leagues in Europe. I've turned into a soccer snob. MLS is now a retirement home for washed up Euro stars.
We need to sign some international stars in their prime, but the money isn't available for the MLS clubs.
