1. We need the offense to put up gaudy numbers every game.

2. What are reasonable expectations for the defense given all of these events? I don't see how we can expect any improvement over last year.

If there can be a bright side this could give Roof "cover" to go all out with more risk/more aggressive D scheme. Expectations are now lower and to some degree he now has a blank check to play a little outside the box and "go for it". Ted, GO FOR IT! Turn those LBs loose. We have good LB size, skills, and depth. USE what you have.

I am trying to stay positive here, but our d-line just feels like a tire fire waiting to happen. It is hard to imagine it not being a glaring weakness this season. Every team in college football has question marks before the season, but this has been unbelievable. Definitely need offense and special teams to step up in a big way.

The new 2-4-5 defense.

Anybody seen an over/under on going for it on 4th down?

How about over/under on punts per game?

CPJ hopefully is building a strategy to protect the defense, TD, TD, TD.....

He failed a final, right? Because there is no way the coaching staff at GMC and GT were caught off guard about this, right?

And why would someone transferring from a Jr collge have to sit out anyway? Can someone ELI5?

We are stacked at LB and have solid depth in the secondary, so is it possible that we go: Gotsis, Green. Davis, Harrell/McNair, Nealy, Marcodes. Then White, Griffin/Milton, Golden, Johnson, and Smith/Noble? (Just being optimistic)

How do you pass all your classes and not graduate? How did we screw this up? If he wasn't going to have the credits to graduate then the AA should have made that clear. This is total BS. Someone is lying.

Wow, we are a high tech football program - players take calculus.
How do we not have some one checking on these issues FOR our better players. This should be done BEFORE they are UNSOLVABLE. Custis, JDH, Whitehead physically look like they could play on big 5.

This is getting embarrassing.
We need somebody to light a fire .

I am depressed.

JHD being ineligible was a huge blow but we all thought we would be alright with Whitehead coming in. This along with JHD isthe biggest blow for the upcoming season.

Can Gamble or Kallon possibly step in at SDE and move Stargel over to WDE?
