I submit Clinton Lynch. He was a late add to the class ie afterthought and over looked, and he has had a year in the system to learn it. I think many times as fans we fail to realize how big the learning curve is from year one to year two.

He kicked himself while getting tackled. You're wrong, go look at the play. I'm not saying the tackle CAUSED the injury, but it's just flat out inaccurate to say no one touched him when he got hurt. It was a freak injury, yes. To say it was a non-contact injury or that no one touched him when he got hurt, no. The defender had his arms around Snoddy before he kicked himself. I don't think he breaks his leg if he's not getting tackled.
yeah, we're going to have to agree to disagree. His injury was definitely a non-contact injury that had nothing to do with another player [opinion]. It happened as he was turning up field. I'm not trying to convince you of anything, so it really doesn't matter. Either way, in my opinion, there will be no psychological flinching associated with contact on Snoddy's part because of this injury.

Yeah, I think you've blurred the Watson's injury with Snoddy's. There's no need to agree to disagree on a fact for which there is video evidence. Snoddy was being tackled.

This one is hard for me.. I think Skov is going to be a big deal for us, but I don't know if we can count it as "surprise" since he is starting to get some hype.

Same thing with JHD - I think he is getting plenty of love too but will be a big impact player.

If I had to pick someone who would be most surprising and still under the radar to all both those who follow GT most closely, than I would have to go with Jeune.

Yeah....we all know "hype" wins football games. JHD is going into his 5th year on the flats and has played very little during his time. I read where he's a "beast" in practice....as reported by his teammates. Does anyone really expect to hear "he can't play or he's terrible" from another player on the team? I like post season accolades much better than preseason hype.

What are you talking about "played very little during his time?" He was a first team freshman all-american linebacker in 2012 with 84 tackles, 47 solo. That was a post-season accolade. He fell off in his contribution in 2013 because of his added size at LB and Roof's new scheme. He didn't play last year because of academic issues not talent.
