Won the Doak Walker Award and Consensus All-American. Rushed for over 2000 yards in a single season. Rushed for 341 yards in a single game against Texas Tech.
The main difference is he hasn’t panned out in the NFL but his time at Texas was still very good.

My son coached for John Tyler hs where the great Earl Campbell played. At their Stadium there is a huge block of granite with his name on it. Earl is the Texas version of Georgia s H Walker . People that hate UT / UGA love Earl/ Herschel .
Hope we see TChoice as he circle back thru in a short while.

Choice has surrounded himself in with great coaches and probably a networking goldmine of great opportunities to build ties with established coaches who could accelerate his climb in coaching positions to DC and ultimately a HC. The way the Texas coach mentions that he was hiring championship caliber coaches speaks to Choice’s reputation in his field.
