Normally I’m not on the “fire someone for dumb post” train, but no freaking way should the person who thought that was a good idea for the GT admissions Twitter account to send out be allowed to work on our campus. At minimum, it shows a basic lack of intelligence and judgement to think that’s a reasonable post for us on the eve of our hated rival (who is enshrined that way in our legacy) playing in a championship game. Does “To Hell With Georgia” mean nothing anymore?

Got trolled by one of our own. I don't care if this person went to uga or not. They put out a blanket statement representing the school that no one there should be ok with. A firing is the correct way to solve this one. That individual can go work in ugag admissions.

If they are smart enough to work for GT then they probably could have attended GT IF we had some additional majors. But I digress...

I am not sure I would say it requires being smart to work for Tech admin. If anything, it is quite the opposite. Yes, the professors are smart, but the administrators are not.
