Georgia Tech defeated Air Force in one of the coldest games in Tech history. Eddie Lee Ivery setting a single game rushing record and it indirectly led to the termination of Bill Parcells.

He had 264 PASSING yards and 2 passing TDs, which for an option QB is unheard of. He also had 195 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs. The drive that won the game was bananas and is something I'll never forget.

I watched this game in person with my wife GTRamblerLady from the 45-yard line in the Upper East Stands!

Without question, out of the many, many games I attended supporting Georgia Tech at Grant Field — since the early 1960s — this game against Duke stands out as the finest single-game performance by an individual player I have ever witnessed.

459 yards of total offense, 4 touchdowns! Justin Thomas was truly a great, great quarterback.
