No way MJ sees the field on this play.Do you dare bring in MJ (cold) to get the D to pinch toward the middle?
I'd run B back dive with Shamire before bringing MJ in cold.

Take 5 delay of game penalties. We should have run backwards 25 yards and then pitched/thrown to clinton lynch on 4th down. it would be a routine distance for him
Except that Qua actually emerged from the pile with the ball. There would be no 4th and 1 if the leap was a yard short. The ball was out on the leap and on the ground. Uga players had a better shot at recovering it than GT players. THe fact that the ball broke the plane of the goal before the ball was knocked loose was the only was we would have avoided a turn over.
I'm not sure he'd have called that play if he didn't think Qua was smart enough not to throw it if it wasnt there...I honestly thought CPJ got too cute with the AB throwback to JeT...then Qua was heady and made a great play so I forgave CPJ.
I was seriously like...WTF, I've seen this one too many times. Qua is going to force the throw, UGA intercepts. Ballgame. Instead we got The Leap, and defense closed it out.
Going back to the OP, I probably go with a speed option with JeT and Dedrick Mills. Line up JJ Green to the playside to block. If JeT can't beat his man, Dedrick has shown the ability to break tackles, and he probably destroys a DB at the goaline to take it in.
If that part were true GT would still have the ball since he would be down before fumbling. Yeah, I know. SEC officials and all that. Which is a really good reason to follow the "Casino" admonition, why take a chance? I bet the players even get a lecture about best on-field behavior, holding on to the ball until the whistle blows, hand it to an official, all that stuff. I still have nightmares that in 2014 they ruled the FG a foot short. There would be no 4th and 1 if the leap was a yard short. The ball was out on the leap and on the ground. Uga players had a better shot at recovering it than GT players. I believe Qua said CPJ called the time-out to emphasize not to throw if JT was covered...I'm not sure he'd have called that play if he didn't think Qua was smart enough not to throw it if it wasnt there...

I must have a big pair then because I wanted us to run toss on the other 4th and 1s we whiffed on earlier in the season. If for no other reason than nobody thinks we will do it.I you had a "big pair" you could run rocket toss with MJ at QB. I think it would be wide open for a TD because if you put MJ in everybody would think it would be QB follow. Everybody would be crashing hard between the tackles to stop it and would leave the outside wide open.
But doing it with MJ at the goal line. We have run rocket toss on 4 down before. We ran TO on um from near the goal line which was wide open for the toss.I must have a big pair then because I wanted us to run toss on the other 4th and 1s we whiffed on earlier in the season.
