It sounds like Coach Collins tries to do what Howard Schnellenberger did at Miami from 1979-1983. Which is to try to build up excitement about the football program in the local community.

That is excellent - hope he can get the quality of recruit for his D at GT - he had extremely high end players at UF.

Louisville's new DC will be Brian Brown who was DC under Scott Satterfield this season at Appalachian State. I haven't seen Coach Woody on lists of possible replacement head coaches at Appalachian State. Coach Woody may e hanging in limbo for a while.

Folks on here like yards per play stats.

Temple averaged 5.9 yards per play on offense this year--same as Tech.
Temple averaged 4.3 yards per play on defense, good for number 5 (FBS). Let's just say that's a little better than we did.

The biggest IF of all time. I am rooting for him to show us something we have never seen consistently on the Flats.

I agree. It's like a business trying to decide its strategy. Do we go up-market or down-market? If we go up market, what do we have do now?

CPJ opined that Georgia Tech greatly resembled service academies. Maybe. But we're located in the very heart of the SEC. Even if we do a half-*** job of it, we should do well in Coastal. And I like the idea that kids can talk smack with each other.
