Week one surprises and observations

Not even a full week.

OSU looked terrible for the first half.
Indiana looks the best they have, in years.
Wisconsin got bailed out by a bad targeting call. But, looked bad against Utah State.

Navy can score and run an option, like a beast.

Jake Browning and Washington's offense were extremely underwhelming in the first half against Rutgers. Their only TD came on a punter return. Not a great start for decent odds Heisman candidate.

Targeting calls seem to be common. 2 calls in the first half of the UF vs UM game. Both were knee jerk calls by the refs. I hope this is not a prelude to the season.
