Yes, Tech defeating Clemson would be an upset, no doubt. That said, Clemson can be defeated by the right team on the right day, and that defeat can be inflicted by someone other than Alabama.

I'd be perfectly fine losing to them in the regular season...then beating them in the ACCCG.

In both cases, Clemson beat itself. They had turnovers against Pitt and were all-around flat against Syracuse.

The better statement might be "Clemson can be defeated.. by Clemson"
