My mistake...I thought Bulovas was a punter. I guess I wrongly associated a kicker's name of a watch brand (Bulova) with hang time.

The reward is for the players who get recognized for their hard work and talent by getting to compete against similar players in a fun environment. Your argument could be made for any All Star game at every level. If a guy gets hurt he gets hurt. It would be unfortunate, but this is sports.
