DE/DT positions are very technical positions to play, if you want to be great at it. A lot of people think you just line up and rush the QB. That is not the case, footwork, timing, feel, use of hands, posture, etc are all fundamental to the position. JA by the end of the season was better at it than the beginning. I think he had better footwork than Clowney. To me there is a big difference in a DE and an OLB in terms of how to approach the rush, fill the lane, and the means of obtaining leverage.

At that weight, what position is he going to play? If he is staying at WR, then he could be a match up nightmare for defenses.

As a DE he'd still be able to drop back into coverage - and shoudl be good at doing so.

Glad he's willing to make the move and improve the chances of getting on the field and helping GT win!
