We bring back a majority of the starters but where do y’all think we should focus in the portal?

We should focus on keeping singleton out of the portal but I think overall we showed out enough as a team to not seriously think about jumping ship. One never knows though.

Run stopper and edge rusher on the DL, continued improvement from our LB corps. IMO, if we keep them together our offense is ready to take us to the next level.

Still need a rush end that can create pressure. They went to the run game against us with their 2 best big receivers out and our run defense ranked one of the worst. I didn't feel like Beck did much to beat us other than not make a lot of mistakes. HK was the better QB on the field. That may have been the best game a Key coached team has played.

I think the most important thing is to 'protect' our core players. Go give to The Tech Way if you haven't! Our roster is in better shape than it has been in a very very long time. TE is really the only position I feel like we really need to bring in a portal player or two. Everywhere else, we have players and young guys that need to develop. We can try to bring in talented upgrades without just needing bodies to fill the roster.

Our Freshman class is heavy on defensive players. Sylvain is also planning on coming back. We just need a couple guys to develop and we'll be in much better shape. Bringing in a veteran starter on DL would certainly help, though. A Keion White type- best player on their FCS team that wants a P5 showcase season.

Tatum and Efford are developing really nicely at LB. Got a lot of talented young guys that need to develop behind them.

Assuming we can keep our guys, I think we're good at QB and WR. Could always use OL depth, if a good player wants to come here. But we're actually in pretty good shape there (Which feels so strange, but good, to say!) Most of our starters return from a much improved young squad. Have a lot of size and talent to develop in the underclassmen.

I'd like to get a short yardage 6' 220lb B-back type RB. Without Dante, we don't have a good power run threat. I'd like to see Haynes add some good lower body weight/strength, maybe he can become more of a bowling ball and be a three-down bell cow.

I think QB is the least of our worries, as long as we hang on to Pyron and the others we already have.
Biggest needs are at DT, DE, LB, and RB (a blocker/fullback type) IMO.
