We had 2 in 2019 but none last year. Kent was a transfer but not on scholarship. Stewart, Kelly, Verdisco all pwo.

No doubt...they were able to secure a viable kicker after only two years and 21 games!

Yeah he had surgery but seems to have recovered well. I am glad the staff took no chances and went out and got somebody, though.

Have a friend that is a UT fan. He said he left because of the crap happening in UT. Said he was good, but they had better. But, I really am ok, with good, compared to what we had. He said he could nail them form 50 yards, though.

They brought in a kicker last year as well but he suffered an injury. He is now healthy but they are doubling up to give us a better chance. Good enough for you?

I think you misinterpreted his post. I thought Lightbulb was responding that it was a quik and proactive move based on last year's performance and the uncertainty around the injured kicker's recovery at this point.

The more our team improves the more likely to be in close games at the end. A good kicker like this young man can be a difference maker.

I am one who has complained about not having a place kicker. This is great news and made my day. I hope for a full recovery and a record breaking season. Way to go CGC.
