This road trip we had back and forth to Detroit was so much fun, let's all meet up at the Orange Bowl later this year and have even more fun.
Boy, do I have some stories to tell about our time in Detroit! And briefly in Canada :))

We've been in that boat too many times...making marginal QBs look like the second coming of Johnny Unitas...again, Illinois fans look at their game against us this year as their best performance in the last decade.

Someone did some type of statistical analysis on our 6 wins versus our 6 losses. For the wins, we compared to top 10 programs...while for the losses we were around 120 out of all programs. Based on this work we won as the "most schizophrenic team" of 2018.

Got to connect with other fans at work today and they were just as surprised...albeit pleasantly so...at the outcome as you guys. Didn't see it coming...

A defender commented that they started working with the cut blocking techniques the first practice and did not let up until the end. Was beat up for a couple of weeks until got the defending technique down. Preparation paid off this time.

Been to Windsor a few times for the shoe show. Worth the trip from Detroit without question and was actually much better than the show in Houston.

Sounds like us too. At one point this season across multiple games we had 18 consecutive possessions across those games and 18 touchdowns. Let that sink in. And then other times we seemed like we didn’t even know what the game of football was.

Was there ever any information released on how many tickets Tech sold of their allotment? Or how much the game cost Tech in unsold tickets?

The implication in the email that went out yesterday was that there were no unsold tickets: "I would like to thank you for donating Quick Lane Bowl tickets to VetTix. Your generosity helped Georgia Tech fulfill its ticket commitment to the bowl and, more importantly, provided members of our military with the opportunity to attend the game. Your support is appreciated and Georgia Tech Athletics is grateful to have you has a loyal supporter. "

Wow.....great to hear.
Also the estimate for the pregame was over 300..... they had expected about 200.
